Objectives & Functions

• To disseminate information about government scholarships, institutional fee waivers, educational loans, and financial assistance schemes to eligible students.
• To guide and support students in the application process for financial aid, including documentation, online submissions, and follow-up with sponsoring agencies.
• To coordinate with the accounts section, department heads, and external agencies to ensure timely disbursement and implementation of financial assistance schemes.
• To identify economically disadvantaged students proactively and connect them with appropriate financial support mechanisms to prevent academic dropout.
• To maintain transparent and comprehensive records of financial assistance beneficiaries, amounts sanctioned, and schemes availed for audit, reporting, and accreditation purposes.
