Objectives & Functions
- To safeguard the educational rights and welfare of students from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), ensuring equal opportunities and non-discriminatory access to all institutional facilities and services.
- To disseminate information about government scholarships, financial aid schemes, and welfare programmes available to SC/ST students, facilitating their access to educational support.
- To provide a supportive platform for addressing grievances and concerns raised by SC/ST students, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
- To promote inclusivity and awareness of constitutional protections and reservations available to SC/ST communities.
- To maintain records of SC/ST student enrolment, scholarship beneficiaries, and welfare activities for compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
