Objectives & Functions

• To provide basic medical care, first-aid services, and emergency medical assistance to students, faculty, and staff during campus hours.
• To organise regular health check-up camps, including screening for vision, hearing, BMI, anaemia, blood pressure, and general health assessments.
• To conduct health awareness programmes, seminars, and workshops on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, mental health, substance abuse prevention, and lifestyle diseases.
• To maintain an adequately stocked medical inventory, including first-aid supplies, essential medicines, and emergency equipment, ensuring readiness for any medical situation.
• To coordinate with local hospitals and healthcare providers for referral services, ambulance arrangements, and specialized medical support when required.
• To promote student well-being through stress management sessions, meditation programmes, and counselling support, particularly during examination periods.
