Objectives & Functions

• To promote a culture of research, innovation, and scholarly inquiry among faculty and students, contributing to institutional research output and academic excellence.
• To support faculty in preparing and submitting competitive research proposals to funding agencies such as UGC, DST, AICTE, and private research organizations.
• To facilitate publication of research papers in reputed journals, conference proceedings, and indexed databases (Scopus, Web of Science, UGC CARE).
• To organize workshops, seminars, and training programmes on research methodology, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), patent filing, and academic ethics.
• To encourage student participation in research projects, innovation challenges, hackathons, and technical exhibitions, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.
• To guide departments in establishing research centres, laboratories, and collaborations with academic and industrial institutions for joint research initiatives.
