Objectives & Functions

• To oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all campus infrastructure, including buildings, classrooms, laboratories, equipment, and utilities.
• To ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe campus environment through effective housekeeping, sanitation services, and waste management practices.
• To coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for timely repair and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, IT infrastructure, and furniture.
• To respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related complaints from students, faculty, and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to academic activities.
• To maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, asset registers, repair logs, and expenditure reports for audit and institutional compliance.
• To recommend infrastructure upgrades and improvements to enhance the quality of campus facilities and meet NAAC and regulatory standards.
