Objectives & Functions

• To ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all women students, faculty, and staff on campus, creating a supportive and empowering environment.
• To prevent and address issues of sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and violence against women through awareness, policy enforcement, and timely intervention.
• To organize workshops, seminars, and training programmes on women's rights, gender sensitivity, self-defense, health, and personal safety.
• To celebrate significant occasions such as International Women's Day and organize health awareness programmes related to women's physical and mental health.
• To provide counseling, emotional support, and welfare assistance to women facing distress or challenges, coordinating with appropriate institutional and external resources.
• To collaborate with NSS, NCC, NGOs, and government bodies to promote women's empowerment, education, and community engagement initiatives.
