Objectives & Functions

• To organize and promote sports and games activities on campus, encouraging student participation in physical fitness, athletics, and competitive sports.
• To plan and conduct inter-departmental tournaments, intra-collegiate competitions, and represent the institution in inter-collegiate and university-level sports events.
• To inculcate values of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and fair play among students, recognizing sports as an integral component of holistic education.
• To maintain and upgrade sports facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to provide students with safe and well-equipped venues for physical activities.
• To organize health and fitness awareness programmes, yoga sessions, and sports camps to promote physical and mental well-being among students and staff.
• To maintain records of sports activities, achievements, and student participation for institutional documentation and accreditation purposes.
