Objectives & Functions

• To assign faculty mentors to students, establishing a structured support system for academic guidance, personal counselling, and career planning.
• To monitor the academic progress, attendance, and overall development of mentees, identifying students who require additional academic support or intervention.
• To maintain regular communication with mentees through scheduled meetings, addressing their concerns, challenges, and aspirations in a supportive and confidential environment.
• To act as a liaison between students and the institution, escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate authorities and ensuring timely resolution.
• To maintain mentoring records, including meeting logs, student progress reports, and intervention actions, for institutional documentation and quality assurance.
• To promote holistic student development by providing guidance on co-curricular activities, skill enhancement, and employability preparation.
